And before the Dawn of Days was Arakerish, The Seven Crowned One. From Arakerish came first the Aklossi, Those Who Dwell Beyond—countless in their numbers, the Aklossi danced and celebrated with Arakerish, for He loved them and provided for all Her children. But Arakerish was not just content with the Aklossi and sought to bring about more—with but a thought, Arakerish spread out His power and brought even more to the Known and Unknown Worlds. After which, Arakerish turned to Her children and proclaimed, “Let your creativity flow through the veins of All. Join me in creating this new paradise!” At once, the Aklossi spread out across the All, mixing elements and moving atoms to their liking, all under the watchful eye of The Seven Who Are One. Some even formed together to create new bonds, growing closer and forming new relationships—the first at the Dawn of Days. From His Sevenfold Throne in Her Celestial Palace, Arakerish looked down in pride and joy at the Aklossi, intervening when necessary as well as giving the Aklossi the various items they would need that would become the seeds of new life for the All.

In the rocky, newly birthed lands that would become the Known World Piril came the Aklossi who would become the Eolith, the formers of life on this once barren rock. They were called,

Uragareth, The Cosmic King

Kiernas, The Planetary Queen

Vedos, The Supernal Smith

Zinir, The Horned Lord

Ata, The Sky Cavalier

Sineta, The Mystic Inquirer

Luadine, The Kindling Naturopath

Sanores, The Sinuous Rover

Quiere, The Metropolitan Patroness

Xa’Cuth, The Transcendent Reaper

Na-Vienna, The Gracious Matriarch

Del-Moltark, The Exalted Trickster

From each of them, Piril was formed and forged into a mighty new world; Luadine set about first to calm the mighty volcanoes that scarred young Piril’s face, while Sanores brought blessed rains and waters to the land, filling in the cracks and crevices Vedos graciously made for her. Zinir, in response, rushed through on his mighty star-elk Nalez, sprinkling the minuscule creatures known as dauroks. In time, these dauroks would rise to form the new life that the Eolith would help guide and support.

In the heavens above, Sineta found and forged a mighty kingdom on Piril’s largest moon, the golden-hued Lyitore, while Xa’Cuth took the smallest, brass-colored moon Geadine for himself and his beloved Na-Vienna, from which they would watch over all life. Ata and Sanores swept down to the dauroks and, envisioning those that Arakerish had chosen to rise above the state of mere animals, imprinted on them, vowing to guide their charges in the eons to come. Meanwhile, in the transcendent halls that would become the Lustrous Manors, Uragareth and Kiernas created various mandates to bring order and preserve freedom on Ancient Piril, while Del-Moltark trained to watch over his new subjects.

And at the end of it all, the Eolith, along with the rest of the Aklossi, thanked Arakerish, and rested and waited, as the Dawn of Days had begun…

Hi everyone,

Remember how I mentioned Piril (pronouced "PIE-reel") earlier today? Well, I decided to go ahead and show my metille with this setting by showing you all the creation myth of the setting! The basic influence for this was the creation myth mentioned in The Silmarillion, since not only is it more-or-less a "Fantasical Christian" version of the LotR mythos (which I find really rare in fantasy stories) but also it features the idea of a single Creator God creating other gods, something I'm fascinated with.

Still, since this has references to things that might not make sense to all, here's a Lexicon for what this story is talking about:
  • All, the: The term for the universe on Piril.
  • Aklossi: The lesser divinities/powers of the All. They are a combination of Pagan gods, Catholic saints, and Christian angels.
  • Arakerish: The creator deity of the All. Said to be an entity who is both seven people and yet one god, Arakerish transcends gender and therefore is always referred to in alternating male and female pronouns.
  • Dawn of Days, the: The beginning of time for the universe after it has been fully created. In essence, it represents the time taken for the Big Bang to start creating planets and for some planets to start being filled with life.
  • Dauroks: The Piril term for bacteria and single-celled organisms. Many alchemists and scientists believe they are the earliest form of life and are the "seeds" of all evolved life.
  • Eolith, the: The Aklossi who decided to watch over Piril personally.
  • Known World: A planet that has been discovered.
  • Unknown World: A planet that has not yet been discovered.
